Peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on February 19, 2023, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Hermina Maria Larsen for 60 years and 9 months. Loving father of Irene Moriarty (Greg) and Michael. Devoted grandfather of Garrett and Megan. Dear uncle of Jeannie, Elisabeth Pichler and Stefan Breuer. Predeceased by his parents Poul & Ellen Larsen and by his sister Birte Hansen. Jorgen will be fondly remembered by his family and friends in Denmark, Austria, and Italy.
Jorgen retired from General Motors after 38 years of service. As a young adult, Jorgen was a professional cyclist in Denmark.
A Private Family Service will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home with interment at Union Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent’s Kitchen. Online condolences may be shared at www.armstrongfh.ca
