Buddel, Darryl Alfred – It is with great sadness the family of Darryl Buddel announce his passing on Monday July 10th, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Darryl passed away surrounded by his loving wife Patricia “Anne”, his children Sean, Stephanie and John. Darryl is the much loved grandfather of Michael, Brianna and Charlee, dear brother of Mel Buddel ( Shirley), Judy Lawrence (the late Leslie) and the late Ronnie and uncle of Debbie, Neil, Rachel, Sheri and Leroy. Darryl will be lovingly remembered by all of his family and friends in England. Proud member of the Knights of Columbus. A Complete Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church on Saturday July 15th at 10am. Visitation will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Friday July 14th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Parish Prayers will be held on Friday evening at 7:30pm. In lieu of flowers, it was Darryl’s wish that everyone bring non-perishable food items to the visitation/service, or consider a monetary donation to Simcoe Hall Settlement House, all to benefit the needy.
