It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of James Purcell on November 25th, 2017. Dear husband to Margaret. Cherished father of James (Aliza), Christopher and John (Kelly). Dear grandfather to Ruby and Alice. James will be missed by his brother John (Yolanda), his sister Sharlotte (Bill), his brother Albert and their families. Nephew of Mamie Hobson and cousin to Elizabeth. Remembered by Sheila Goble and family as well as Lorretta Hadden and family. James will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. A special thank you to the Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre, their palliative team, Dr.Azi, Dr.Rothenstein, Dr. Bloomfield and Dr. Saged. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St E for a Memorial service on Monday, December 4th, 2017 at 1pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time from 12pm to 1pm.
