It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aleksander Jasiowka. After a courageous battle with cancer, Aleksander passed away on December 6th, 2023 at Centenary Hospital at the age of 69. Aleksander leaves behind his wife Anna; daughters: Aleksandra Pieta (Paul) and Ursula MacDonald (Andrew); and 5 grandchildren: Jacob, Matthew, Emily, Leo and Oliver.
His passions for music, chess, soccer, fishing and his dog Maja were shared generously with all. He had a warrior's spirit, yet his sense of humour and love of family sustained him in the darkest of times. Rest in peace knowing that you are forever in our hearts.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church. Online condolences may be shared at www.armstrongfh.ca
