Passed away peacefully on April 15, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Jo-Anne Durst-Lesser. Predeceased by his first wife Roberta and son Warren. Loving father of Dr. Shari Lesser (Brian) and Ryan Lesser (Jackie) and father-in-law of Michelle Alston Lesser. Cherished Grandpa-guy of Janine (Phil), Diana (Joshua), Erica, Nathan and Jordyn and great-grandpa-guy of Claire.
Alfred was a navigator for the Air Force, RCAF #5911. He was dedicated to his career as a Records Manager for the Provincial Government and a committed member of Calvary Baptist Church.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Refuge Youth Outreach Centre, Oshawa. Online condolences may be left at www.armstrongfh.ca
