Passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a short battle with cancer, at the age of 79.
Beloved mother of Eugene (Colleen) and Natalka (Andrew). Cherished grandmother and baba of Alexander and Daniel. Dear sister of Andy. Predeceased by her loving husband Philip (1978), her parents Basil & Paraskevia Sidlar, and her siblings Anna, Michel, and Kateryna.
Anastasia will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa) with Panachyda at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery.
