Our beloved Anna Rousseau died on January 28th, 2023, at home peacefully and surrounded by her family. She was 70. Born on April 20th, 1952, in Płock, Poland, to Zofia Zabielska and Karol Kozłowski.
After attending high school at the Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Władysława Jagiełły, in Płock, she went to the University of Warsaw, where she attained a Masters of Education. Moving to Oshawa in 1984, she worked for the Durham Region Catholic School Board, where she was a caring and empathetic teacher. She will be remembered by all that met her as being generous and kind.
She is survived by her husband Gregory, daughter Paulina, sister Jola Prosowska, and nieces and nephews Konrad Prosowski, Joanna Prosowska, Marcin Kozłowski and Marlena Kozłowska (maiden name).
