Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday June 4, 2023.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late John A.W. MacCalman (1997). Dearest mother of Judy and Dennis.
Proud Nana of Chris (Alissa), Adam (Keri) and Meaghan Rudder (Jevon). Adored Great-Nana of Layla, Jackson, Zachary & Jacob. Betty will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends.
The family would like to thank Nichole, Danielle, Joyce and Dr. Tim Panowyk for their love and compassion throughout the years.
Betty’s favourite things in life were her family. Time spent with them were her greatest past times, passions and accomplishments. Making wonderful memories to cherish forever.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 8th from 6pm to 8pm at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. The Funeral Service is on Friday June 9th at 11am in the Armstrong Chapel. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery.
