Beautiful, devoted wife and mother. Married to her dedicated and charming yet incorrigible husband Mike, for 67 years.
She traveled by his side for many decades. She hated being away from home and uncomfortable in strange places, but she traveled with him and the kids without complaints.
Doreen cared for Mike who suffers with dementia for the last dozen years of her life, even at her own peril. She never wanted to lose Mike, she got her wish.
Mother to Peter (Lila) and Tanya (Paul), whom she loved more than life itself.
Doreen, shy and thoughtful, empathetic and generous, with a great sense of humor.
She will be missed by many.
As per Doreen’s wishes, no fanfare, no service.
