With his family by his side, after a brief illness at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his 70th year. Devoted son of Joyce and the late Leonard. Beloved husband of Vera. Loving father of Amanda (Kelly). Cherished stepfather of Tara and Bradley (Aleksandra). Adored grandfather of Daniel, David, Drake and Tristan. Dear brother of Neil (Sandra), Judy (Dale), Bruce (Dorothy), Grant (Bonnie) and Timothy (Kelly). Special thanks to nurse Jennifer at PRHC ICU. Doug will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has already taken place and a private Celebration of Life will take place in the near future.
