Passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 17, 2022, at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of Jesuina. Loving father of Paulo (Helena). Devoted grandfather of Paulo Jr. (Natasha), Jesse, Chantel (Ryan), and Leighton and great-grandfather of Alexa, Kyra, Kalisse, Nia, Avyn, and Selina.
Emidio was an avid stamp collector and was known by many as Sergeant Silva, from his time in the Portuguese Army.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.armstrongfh.ca
