Peacefully passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Carole for 67 years. Loving father of Christine Strotmann (Rob), Terry-Lynn McDonald, Heather McDonald, and the late Christopher McDonald. Cherished grandfather of 10, and great-grandfather of 8. George will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends.
George was a true outdoorsman. He loved to spend his time hunting, fishing, and camping. He retired from General Motors after 40 years of dedicated service.
As per George’s wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Online condolences may be shared at www.armstrongfh.ca
