Peacefully on August 31, 2019 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife and best friend of Ed for 63 years. Cherished mother of Cathy (Tom), Chris (Tara), Tom (Colette) and the late Bob (Christine). Gerry will be missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sisters Marge, Shirl, Rene, and Pat. Gerry will be remembered as a hockey mom, volunteer and member of the CWL. Visitation will be taking place at Armstrong Funeral Home 124 King St E, Oshawa Thursday September 5, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be taking place on Friday September 6, 2019 at St. Mary of the People R.C.C 570 Marion Ave, Oshawa at 11 am, reception to follow at Church Hall and a private family interment to follow at Bond Head Cemetery. Donations to Autism Ontario or Lupus Ontario or a charity of your choice in Gerry’s memory would be appreciated.
