I met Heather at Whitby Courthouse Theatre when she stepped into the role of Robert Anne very close to opening night for Nunsense. She became one of those special friends that you could go months without talking and just pick right back up where you left off. Heather loved to visit after I had my two babies, and she was one of my biggest supporters when I ventured into the business world. I took care of her beloved Bubba when she was away on vacation because I loved her so much and I wanted her to enjoy herself knowing her baby was safe. She touched so many people and I’m so so so sad I won’t be able to have one last visit with her. Thank you Heather, for being such a wonderful and supportive friend.

Dear Ruth, Klaus and I where saddened by Heather's passing. Although we cannot find the words to tell you that we understand and share your sorrow, our hearts are reaching out to you in sympathy and friendship. At this very sad time, may it help to know how many hearts are touched by your loss. Your daughter touched so many lives for the good. My husband and I met Heather on a trip to Yorkshire. We instantly became friends. We were on more trips and we always had fun. Heather was a great photographer and sent us pictures of some of the places we saw. She was a lot of fun and we miss her. I remember that she bought a piece called The Jester from Stratford England. She wanted it for her dining room table. It was wrapped in brown paper with lots of string for the trip home. However I noticed that a flight attendant was carrying it on the plane and the string was hanging and the paper was a mess. I told Heather and later when she got home the figure was broken. She said she was gluing it back together and putting it on her table.

I met Heather in my first OLT play in 1985; she was so much fun to work with and brought so much youth and vitality to the show; we then shared the stage in Nuncrackers in 2008; between those 2 shows we had some great times together, and she was a great addition to any party; including my birthday this past year, when , in spite of what she was already going through, she managed to lift spirits and join in the celebration. She is now lifting spirits from Paradise. God bless, my friend--gretel

My condolences to the Sessions Family. I met Heather at Durham College while in the same Law Clerk Program. Although we had lost touch, I often saw her featured in local newspapers with stories about her many contributions to local theatre productions. Remembering her with fond memories and especially her infectious laugh. Gone way too soon, rest in peace Heather.
