Condolences

Condolence From: Sylvi Sharafi (Sponer)
Condolence: My deepest condolences Beegy and children.

I will always have fond memories of your Mutti & my Tante Herma, as I referred to her growing up. Oncle Karl and Beegy were very close to my family in younger years and while living on Regent Drive and Beaufort Avenue. I had sleep overs with your family and remember long sunny afternoons in your lovely large backyard. My first job at age 14 was with Tante Herma and the other wonderful ladies at Henry's Deli in the Oshawa Centre, where she showed me the ropes and always gave me a slice of wurst while visiting during a shopping spree. Later she lived in the same complex as my Mother and Father in Rossland Park, where I would bring my son to swim. I still remember how awesome she looked, long into her later years in a bikini !! She called my son a springingal, which was absolutely appropriate. She always made me laugh and made me feel loved. I will remember her always, a very special lady.

Condolence: Our deepest condolences on the passing of your mom, Brigitte. I have great memories of Herma in so many places: skiing at Kirby, swimming at Cedar Park, Henry's Delicatessen and of course at my parents' pool. Cherish your memories! Much love, Annemarie (Gary, Tyler & Amber)

Condolence: It was with great sadness when I heard the news of Herma’s passing and my condolences to Brigette and Herma’s grand children.
I have many fond memories of your Mutti from my childhood. I will never forget how your mother would coax me and my Claudia to join her behind the counter at Henry’s Delicatessen to receive a slice of black forest ham. When Herma wasn’t behind the deli counter she could be found carving down the ski slopes at the Oshawa Ski Club with us or playing tennis across the street at Baker Park. Claudia and I would also explore the creek by her home while mom and Herma enjoyed coffee and cake while taking in her beautiful gardens.
Those memories will never be forgotten.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Herma's passing. She was a part of my childhood as she and my dad Alfred, worked together at the delicatessen for many many years. Cherish the memories and she will always be close in your hearts.
