Obituary for Iolanda Savignano (Volpe)
SAVIGNANO, Iolanda
Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Thursday July 27, 2023, in her 90th year. Born in Savignano, Irpimo, Avellino, Italy. She came to Canada on February 20th 1963, to be with her sister Maria (late Michele) and to then settle in Oshawa. Iolanda will be dearly missed by her husband Giuseppe, her three children John, Carmela and Lorenzo, her sisters Maria (late Michele) and Anna (Arnaldo Braccia), and late brothers Mario Volpe and Giovanni Alessio. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa, for Visitation on Monday July 31st from 6pm until 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Mary of the People Roman Catholic Church (Oshawa) on Tuesday August 1st at 11am. Interment to follow the mass at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
