Obituary

DAVIDSON, James Robert -

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of James (Jim) Davidson age of 79 on Monday August 17, 2020

Jim was the beloved husband of Patricia (Pat) of 58 years, an incredible father to Katrina and Nicola, grandfather to Kirstin (Paul), Kayla (Scott) and great grandfather to Abby, (predeceased) Gracie, Connor and Scott Jr. Lovingly remembered and cherished by his brothers Harry (Dorothy) and Billy and sister Christine (Russ) of Scotland.

A native of Edinburgh Scotland Jim and his family immigrated to Canada in 1977. His happy go lucky attitude and demeanour made him loved and admired by all who knew him.

At his request, the family will have a celebration in private.

Special thanks to Dr. Anthony Woods, his nurse Magda at DRCC for their exceptional care and compassion over the years.

Katrina, I am saddened to read of your Dad's passing. I was visiting Sandra (Smith) in February, and we got reminiscing about you. So many days I spent at your house when we first met. Your home was always so filled with love and laughter. I still think of you when I melt cheese and tomato under the broiler - a fave lunch you introduced me to. :) Please offer my condolences to your Mom, and Nicola. Thinking of your family during this sad time. Deb (Dupuis) Bartlett
