Silva, Joaquim ‘Jack’
Passed away at home with family by his side, on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Donna. Loving father of Dawn Meisenheimer (Rich Fletcher). Cherished grandfather of Kenidy Briggs and Logan Briggs (Katheleen) and Pawpy of Daisy and Fitz. Dear brother of Vitor da Silva (Ermelinda) and uncle of Kathy Gendron (Regent) and Roger da Silva and their children. Jack will be remembered by his in laws Deb and Pete Elwood, Joe Meisenheimer, John and Kim Meisenheimer, Angie and Andy Rafter and all of their children. Predeceased by his parents Joaquim & Eulalia Silva.
Jack will be sadly missed by all his family and friends in Canada and Portugal.
He was a kind and generous man, who you could always count on for a good joke. He retired from Chrysler after 30 years of dedicated service.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
