Where do I begin..... Words cannot describe how much you are missed. Uncle Joe, you were always like a father to me growing up. We shared so many good memories.
How about that time when you would send all the cousins over to get a grocery cart so we could take your empties back. I used to love spending the money at Becker’s. I remember the day you and Aunt Shirley moved in to my parents house. I used to bring my friends down stairs to say hi to uncle Joe!!
I will never forget that you were the one to take me out in your car the day I got my license.
I think I was your chauffeur that day. We made many stops at Tailgate Charlies.
Do u remember the late night run to Mc Donald’s to get chicken nuggets? Those were the good old days that I will cherish. I will never forget how u always stuck your front teeth out and tried to scare all the cousins.
You even tried that on my children.
You always made us laugh.
I miss going to walmart and picking up your groceries, Pulling up to moms and waving to u through the window or walking by your room waiting for you to ask how my day was. Instead, I see a dark room and an empty chair!
It’s not the same without my dear uncle around.
You will be missed. We love you !!
Until we meet again💕❤️
❤️Jennifer
I’m really missing u😥

I have fond memories of visiting my Uncle Joe as a kid, along with my sister, brother and parents. He used to joke around and startle us kids by sticking out his false teeth when we least expected it - which we thought was absolutely hilarious! I also remember looking forward to when Joe would give us his empty beer bottles to take back to the nearby Beer Store, and my siblings and I would excitedly use the money to buy ice cream! Joe was sarcastic and liked to joke around with his brothers and sisters, nieces, and nephews. I remember at Grandma O’Neills 75th birthday party, Uncle Joe and our cousin Mike ate a chip sandwich - which we all (nieces and nephews) thought was so strange... but so funny. Joe always made us laugh!

In later years, I remember Uncle Joe loved chatting to my brother, Chris, (who also worked at A&P), about their grocery store work; and Joe loved chatting to cousin Vicki and I about all of the drama happening in his soap operas, The Bold and the Beautiful, and The Young and the Restless.

Joe was grateful for the little things in life, too - he loved driving around in his little car, even if it was just a quick trip to Sunday mass at St. Joe’s or a day trip to Ennismore for a trip down memory-lane with Aunt Anne or Aunt Patsy.

Thanks for the fond memories, Uncle Joe. You will be missed by many, but I’m grateful that God called you into the Kingdom of Heaven, relieving you of your pain and suffering. May you look down on the O’Neill family and bring us comfort, strength and peace as we fondly remember you. “Rest In Peace” - xoxo love, always.

I have such fond memories of my cousin Joe as an adult. With 20 years difference in age we did not have much in common. He was always kind and gentle with a welcoming smile. We will all miss you Joe. Rest In Peace 💕
