Not sure if you came into our lives at a time when we needed you most, or when you needed us most, maybe it was a bit of both, but I am thankful that you did. We’ve shared a lot over the last 40 years and I am grateful for each moment. You taught us that even a person with the kindest heart and the best intentions make mistakes, with unconditional love, there is always room for forgiveness. I’ll treasure all of our memories and remember you always. You were always so patient and forever cracking jokes, even if you were the one laughing the loudest. So many great memories over the years and I am thankful for all of the time I spent with you. It is true what Crystal said, you could sell water to a fish. I’m sure right now you are selling clouds and Cadillac’s to Angels….I love you very much and will miss you always.
Love always, Brenda

Most of my life I’ve been super close with my dad, we shared so many great memories together. As a small child, I’ve been told that he couldn’t leave the house without me or I would cry till his return. I was very much his sidekick for many years.
We went on so many adventures together. My favourite were the trips to Parry Sound to visit relatives. He truly tried to show me his side of the family & his stomping grounds as a kid. He loved his home town. Lots of trips to see Uncle Bernard & Aunt Daisy, Eric & Mary Ann, Donald, Tina & family, Frank & Vera and many others. We always had a great time. Lots of open arms, stories & laughter.
My dad had a great memory & could recite joke after joke, for hours. A lot of sore tummies when he got on a role. Lol!
He was also a music lover from the first time I met him. He used to sing me to sleep on his belly singing the Beatles hit song “ We all Live In A Yellow Submarine.” I can recall as a small child having dance parties in our living room with my dad and a few of my friends. I remember working with my dad for a few years and always having music on with singing involved. I have a few favourites that bring back great memories when heard. I will always cherish them & remember my dad in that moment.
He was also kind, patient and generous to his grandkids, nieces and nephews. The kids always enjoyed their time with Grandpa Keith.
Dad the void in my heart can’t be filled by anyone. I will hold on to our lovely memories we had together. Till we meet again. I love you deeply. You’ll remain my first life hero. I miss you & hope you are in a better place.
Love Cheri💕
