Unexpectedly, but peacefully passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Ruth for over 50 years. Loving father of Greg (Tracy) and grandfather of Ashley and Carter. Dear brother of Eunice Whittaker.
Ken was in the British Army for 2 years prior to immigrating to Canada. He was a referee for soccer for many years. He also enjoyed watching all sports on tv, especially hockey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 12 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Simcoe Hall Settlement House. Online condolences may be shared at www.armstrongfh.ca
