Obituary

Beloved Husband, Dad, Papa, Great-Papa, Brother, Uncle, and friend to many, Leo Harold Lindberg passed away peacefully August 24, 2019 with his sons at his side.

A thinker, a talker, a teacher; a shot-caller, a plan-maker and a collector (of knowledge and things); a cottager, a game-player and a friend - Leo will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his sister Lillian (Alf), his sons Scott (Donna) and Brent, grandchildren David (Sarah), Lauren, and Brendan, Great Grandson Lucas and his best dog pal Abbey.

Together once again with his beloved wife; in the days leading up to his passing, Leo looked forward to starting “one hell of a new life with Doreen.”

In lieu of flowers, donations to Lakeridge Health are appreciated.
In accordance with Leo’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa.

After many Golf Tournaments Leo would stop by our cottage on the way home or we would drop by their cottage to replay the days events. Leo was one of the main reasons I went to those tournaments, I always looked forward to seeing him there. We laughed, we teased, we told lies about our abilities and overall just had some great fun. All the Lynch's thought the world of Leo, my Mom welcomed his visits at the dock, my Dad enjoyed extending the tournament with a couple of cool ones with Leo. I just thought he was one of the nicest, funniest most enjoyable people to be around. I(We) will miss him and the lake will miss him. Our condolences to Scott and Brent and his good friend and neighbor Peter. Rest in Peace Friend. You were a GOOD ONE!
