Peron, Maria
Passed away peacefully at home in Oshawa on Friday August 25, 2017 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Stephan Peron. Loved aunt of the Gulin Family. Dear sister of the late Olga Hrynek and her family in the Ukraine. Maria will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
Maria was a very independent lady and lived in her own home and was digging in her gardens the day before she passed away. She was a longstanding member of the Ukrainian Senior Citizen’s Club and was a very faithful member of St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church, the Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League (UCWLC) and LVIV Hall.
Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Tuesday August 29th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Panachyda will be at 7:30 pm. Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church on Wednesday August 30th at 11 am. Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Ukrainian Cemetery, Courtice. Memorial donations to St. George’s Church would be appreciated.
