Peacefully, passed at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa on Thursday, December 28th 2023, just shy of her 87th Birthday.

Loving Mother to Elizabeth Cosman and Derek Woodward
Cherished Grandmother to Kaelan and Joshua Cosman and Joseph Woodward.
Daughter to Leonard Cecil Simmerson and Gertrude Elizabeth Simmerson (nee Beard)

In her lifetime, she touched many people’s hearts with her kindness and compassion.
Her positive energy and outlook was a beacon for her family, friends and her church.
She loved music, teaching piano, playing piano and singing, and infusing that love for Music in her children and grandchildren and all who come in contact with her. This was a precious gift for all who knew her. She will be missed dearly.

Her Funeral will be held on January 6th 2024 at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm with the Service following at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Mt. Lawn Cemetery.
