Manser, Marion Anita (nee Hurlburt) – Has gone to be with her Lord and Saviour, on Saturday August 5th, 2017, at the age of ninety, at Hillsdale Estates, with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of Allen Manser (deceased 2010) for 65 years.
Loved and respected mom of Allan Jr. (deceased), Sharon Sawyer (Duane – deceased), Linda Cassel (Harry), Gary, David(Wendy) and Michael(Brenda).
Cherished Gramma of David(Lauren), Amy(Rob), Daniel, Becky(Mike), Donna, Jason(Susan), Sheila(John), Stephanie, Mat(Sara), Simon, Alex(Allison), Kellie and Jesse.
Great Grandchildren – Addison, Austin, Nora, Dakota, Santana, Bailey, Victoria, Ally, Nadria, Aayla, Leah, Corbin, Joseph, Morghan, Kathrine and Zander.
Great-Great Grandchildren – Alexys and Karsen.
Loved sister of Victor(deceased), Pearl, Wilma(deceased), Avery, Doran(deceased), and Robert.
Predeceased by her parents Maynard Hurlburt and Charlotte Allen.
Marion was born in Carleton, Nova Scotia and lived in Oshawa since 1951. She worked as a secretary for the Oshawa Deaf Center and taught sign language classes. She was a volunteer for Saint John Ambulance for many years. Marion also was an amateur photographer and prolific artist. She was a wonderful cook and loved to put on big family dinners.
Mom will always be remembered and held close to our hearts.

Family and friends may visit at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Wednesday August 9th from 2pm to 4pm & 7pm to 9pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Thursday August 10th at 11am. Interment at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, following the Service and Reception at Armstrong Funeral Home.
