STARK, Marjorie Joan (nee Perry).
The family sadly announces the passing of Marjorie Stark on Friday August 23, at the age of 88. Mother of Cathy Elliott (Phil) of Ajax, Carolyn Shilton (Don) of Brantford, and Susan Wilkinson of Red Deer. Grandmother of Jennifer Elliott (Jas), Andrea Elliott (David), Julia Shilton (Ross), Jamie Shilton (Bahar), Heather Shilton (David), Neal Wilkinson (Lynn), Colin Wilkinson, Eric Wilkinson and Sylvanna Wilkinson. Great-grandmother of Jack. Survived by her sisters Lois Morey and Gail McKenzie, and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Marion Flintoff, Helen Herd, Art Perry, and her granddaughter Annalise. Marjorie was a member of St. George’s Memorial (Anglican) Church, where she devoted many hours of service to her community. Many thanks to the PSWs from St. Elizabeth’s Health and the caregivers from Home Instead Senior Care, Mom’s neighbours Dave, Donna and Joanne, Dr. Oldham, Dr. Azi and the Lakeridge Health Palliative Care Team, and to the many friends who supported her in her home until the end. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King street East, Oshawa. Visitation will take place Tuesday August 27 from 6-8 pm.
