Mary Shine passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, February 3rd. She was the devoted wife of Frank Shine (deceased) and loving mother of Linda (Peter), Laraine (Morten), Stephen (Gail) and Joe (Wendy) Loving Grandmother of Patti Lynn, Steven, Drew, Charlie and Kris. Dear Great Grand Mother of Derek, Leah, Renay, Drew, Savannah, Max, Aymee and Charlotte. She is also survived by her sister Pat in England, brother Dan of Toronto and sister-in-law Marg Shine of Peterborough. Mary will be dearly missed by her extended family, and her many friends. She touched many lives. A special “Thank-you” to the kind nurses and staff of Fairview Lodge long term care facility in Whitby, for their wonderful care. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East (905) 433-4711. A private family service will be held. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Whitby.
