Smith, Marie (nee Taillon)
Peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Extendicare Port Hope, in her 100th year. Loving mother of Bob (Karin) and Stanley (Mary). Cherished grandmother of Paul (Laura), Andrea (Shannon), Melissa (Alan), and Adrian (Jenna) and great-grandmother of Mikayla, Evrett, Eva, Vivian, Stanley, Kyra, Gordon, Gracie, and Riley. Dear sister of Joseph (Ann). Predeceased by her siblings Bea, Anne, Rita, Fred, and Maurice. Marie will be fondly remembered by Shannon, and her many nieces, nephews, and friends at Marion Place.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 5-9 p.m. with Prayers at 7 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the People Catholic Church. Urn burial to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Covenant House, or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be shared at www.armstrongfh.ca
