McCabe, Norma Margaret (Thompson)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 2nd, 2021 at Lakeridge Health Ajax. Norma was born in Montreal on July 18th, 1929. She was predeceased by her parents George and May, MBE, Thompson (Glancey) of Montreal, loving sisters Verna (Gordon Wood) and identical twin Norinne (Jack Donachey) and brother Kenneth and twin sister Joan. She is survived by her soulmate and loving husband of 70 years Gerald, their three children Ronald (Jean Dawe), Donna (Carsten Scheffel) and Richard, grandchildren Meghan, Andrew and Matthew (Hope Jameison) and great grandchildren Margaret Rose and Edward Campbell, niece Brenda Sorichetti (Brian), nephews Michael Wood (Mary), David Wood (Christine), Wayne Donachey, Neil Donachey (Yuka) and Stephen Donachey (Alice).
Norma took great pleasure in her role as wife and mother, as taking care of her family wherever they were living, proved always to be her greatest joy.
