Passed away after a brief illness, with his family by his side on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 60.
Beloved brother of Teresa (Mike), Christine (Rick), Richard, and Ed. Cherished uncle of Alex, Ryan, and Matthew. Peter will be sadly missed by his stepfather, Sebastian LoMagno and his family.
Predeceased by his parents Bronislaw and Irena.
Peter, affectionately known as ‘Ziggy’, will be fondly remembered by his colleagues and his loyal customers at Bad Boy Furniture, where he worked for over 25 years.
His sense of humour and love for the Montreal Canadiens will be remembered by all his friends and family. His presence will be especially missed by his broomball and ball hockey teammates.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa) with Prayers at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church. Urn Burial to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
