Bannister, Richard Harrison Pierce ‘Dick’
Peacefully passed away, with family by his side, on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 74.
Beloved husband of Donna for over 50 wonderful years. Loving father of Tracy Kelloway (Wilson), Terri Layden (Roy), and step son Morgan (Kelly) Bannister. Devoted grandfather of Caleb, Nicholas, and Lucas. Dear brother of Henry Bannister (Wendy), Laura Legrow (Ted), Lana Dalziel, and Sharon Griffin (Bill). Predeceased by his father George Parsons, his mother Caroline Bannister-Snooks, his stepfather Bob Snooks, his father-in-law George Buckle and his mother-in-law Clarice Buckle. Richard will be sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Dick had a huge heart and loved to spend time with his grandsons, watching any type of sport, and enjoying time at his trailer with friends.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be shared at www.armstrongfh.ca
