Passed away on April 20, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, after a brief illness, at the age of 74. Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Rosina Ellis and by his wife Dianne Ellis. Loving father of Matthew Ellis (Sonya) and Catherine Luke (Mathew). Cherished grandfather of Alexandra (George), Aimee (Tyler), Mackenzie (David), Mitchell, Madison, and Cassidy and great-grandfather of 8. Dear brother of the late Shirley Hill (late Jerry), Barbara Chapman (late Douglas), Harold Ellis (late June), and Margaret Henderson (late Gary). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
As per Robert’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be shared at www.armstrongfh.ca
