Hegadorn, Robert P. “Bob”
Peacefully passed away at home on August 31, 2023, in his 100th year. Predeceased by his first wife Elizabeth (1973) and his second wife Louise (2010). Beloved father of Robert C. Hegadorn, Deborah Anderson (Kevin), Frank Briggs (Lana), and Barry Briggs (Mary). Loving grandfather of Matthew Thompson (Natasha), Patrick Thompson (Madison), Maxwell Briggs, and Samuel Briggs. Bob will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Bob reluctantly retired from General Motors in 1989, after many years of dedicated service. He served the community for four decades with the Rotary Club, enjoyed gardening, baking, and always had a cup of tea at hand. Bob was a collector of all things, and a devoted lover of animals
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment Union Cemetery.
