Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Extendicare Oshawa, in his 91st year.
Predeceased by his beloved wife June. Loving father of Bob Mitchell (Cathy), Debbie Fraser (the late Bill), and Cathy Mitchell (the late Glenn). Dear grandfather of Shannon, Michael, Kaylin, William (Brittany), Cameron, and Taylor and great-grandfather of Marley.
Robert retired from the Toronto Police Association, 32 Division after many years of dedicated service as a Police Officer. He was also an active member of the Dorset Lions Club, Masonic Lodge, and the Canadian Snowbird Association.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 12-1 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m.
