WOOD, Robert Henry “Bob” General Motors Retiree 35 Years-Service
Peacefully with family at his side at his home in Brechin on Saturday August 17, 2019 in his 75th year. Bob, beloved husband for 56 years of Carol Wood (nee: Cook). Much loved father of Christine Langton (Dan Pickles) and Jeffrey Wood (Krissy Shmyr). Proud Grandpa of Emily, Jakob, Andrew, Jessica and Joshua. Dear brother of Joe Wood (Jean), Marie Robinson (Wayne) and brother in law of Joanne and Larry Buckley. Fondly remembered by Nicholas and Renée and his other nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Tuesday August 20th from 6-8pm. Funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday August 21st at 1pm. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by Bob’s family.
