March 4, 1924 – June 4, 2021
Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Palliative Care Unit, in his 98th year.
Beloved husband of his late wife Lorraine, having 60 years together. Also married to the late Irene Piney. Predeceased by his parents Earnst and Anna, his sister Nan (Roy) and his grandson Mark. Loving father of Pat (Don) and Jill (Paul). Cherished grandfather of Rob and Jeff and their families. Dear brother of Bob (Doreen).
Jim was a WWII Veteran for the wireless operations on the Lancaster Bombers.

A private family service was held at Armstrong Funeral Home with interment at Thornton Cemetery.
