Nadeau, Sauveur Arthur
Passed away peacefully, on Monday, October 7, 2019, after a brief illness, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Jeanne d’Arc for 67 wonderful years. Loving father of Suzanne (Maurice) Mathieu, Serge (Ann), Michel (Karen), Louise (Andre) Lussier and Marc. Cherished grandfather of Jesse (Lisa), David (Kayla), Danielle, Eric, Phillip, Jean-Paul, Frederic, Emilie and Sylvie and great-grandfather of Mia, Simon, Cameron and Kaylee. Survived by his siblings Rollande, Marie-Laure, Robert and his sister-in-law Lucette. Predeceased by his siblings Laura, Real, Roland, Rene, Monique and Henri-Louis and in-laws Antonio, Ti-Laure, Marcelle, Jeannine, Victor, Bill, Adelard and Rejeanne. Sauveur will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was born in Ste. Justine, Quebec to Arthur & Yvonne. He moved to Oshawa in 1952 with his wife, where they raised their family. He retired from General Motors after 33 years of dedicated service. Sauveur volunteered for many different organizations, for which he received numerous awards, including the Volunteer Service Award for 25 years of outstanding service. He was also an active member of the French community and Past President of the French Club. One of his favourite past times was working at his sugarbush.
