Kozlinsky, Serafyna "Sarah"
With sadness, the family of Sarah Kozlinsky (nee Kichak) announces her passing after a series of illnesses on Mon. Jan. 15th, at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph, Sarah leaves behind her daughter, Lise Lesia and sons, Jerry (Jamie) and Eugene. Deeply loved Baba to Alexis Bogda (Chris), Joseph Kozlinsky (Chelsea) and Emma Kozlinsky. Cherished Great Baba to Jake, Charlie, Nathan, Cooper, Mattix, Ellianna, Beau and Quinn. Also survived by her nieces Irene Badour (Dwight) and their son, Dwight Jr. and Olga Janiw.
Born in the Ukraine, Sarah came to Canada after World War II grateful for the chance to build a life and a family in a free country. She and Joseph worked hard and provided their family with a good life.
The Kozlinsky family is deeply grateful to the staff of Primrose Path at Hillsdale Estates for the wonderful care they provided Sarah and for their compassion, support and humour they showed us all as we sat vigil with Mama.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church in Oshawa.
