Coutinho, Sheila Yvonne (nee Coulter)
Passed away on Sunday, July 17th, 2022 at Lakeridge Gardens Long Term Care in Ajax, at the age of 69. She passed away one month shy of celebrating her 70th birthday on August 27th.
Sheila will be dearly missed by Manuel, her husband of 44 years, their two sons Steven and Philip, daughter-in-law Brandy and granddaughter Marabella.
She is predeceased by both of her parents; Edna & Fred Coulter, as well as her brother Warren.
Sheila was born in Lindsay to Edna & Fred Colter in 1952. She worked in the 90’s at Algoma Orchard’s as an apple packer and at Zellers in the early 2000’s. She enjoyed word searches and puzzles, and was an avid baker; chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies were some of her boy’s favourites.
She was a very patient, reserved and easy person to talk to. She was wonderful at giving her undivided attention to whoever needed it, and that also came with honest feedback, always given with love.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Private family interment in Lindsay, ON.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation in Sheila’s name may be made to the MS Society. Online condolences may be shared at www.armstrongfh.ca
