Trevor Brent Szewerda, at the age of 44, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
He was the cherished son of Karl and Karen, loved by his brother Ryan (Brynn) and uncle to Brooks and Reese. Trevor will be greatly missed by his extended family at DeafBlind Ontario Services. He will be dearly missed by his grandmother Audrey McFarlane (late Bill McFarlane), uncles Wayne Power, Danny Power, late Jeff Power, aunt Betty Donaher and many cousins in New Brunswick. He will also be missed by his aunt Ingrid Szewerda, cousins Adam and Melissa and families in Ontario.
Trevor is predeceased by his Opa Karl Sr. and Oma Anne Marie Szewerda. Loving condolences sent from extended family in Germany and Poland.
A special thank you to DeafBlind Ontario Services for all their love and care to our special needs child, as well as our thanks to Lakeridge Health Oshawa. We would also like to thank Dr. Steven Russell in Port Perry, for his compassion, understanding and support in the care of Trevor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 1-2 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 2 p.m.
