Obituary for William "Bill" Triemstra
TRIEMSTRA, William ‘Bill’ –
Peacefully at his home in Oshawa on Monday November 18, 2019 at the age of 76.
Bill beloved husband for 52 years of Mary Triemstra (nee:Boomgaardt).
Much loved father of Weston Triemstra (Leah), Jennifer Triemstra-Johnston (Chris), and Marijke Wagner (Devin). Proud Grandpa of Maddy, Piper, Josephine and Wineva. Bill will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family and many dear friends. Bill had a life-long career at the Royal Bank and continued long after retirement with his own business BILMAR Consulting Services. He was the former president of the Oshawa Golf & Curling Club. He loved golfing, gardening and flowers.
Friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on
Thursday November 21st from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Friday November 22nd at 10:30 am in the chapel of the funeral home. In remembrance, Bill enjoyed flowers or a memorial donation to the Alzheimer Society if so desired.
