Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Karen Washington can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

WASHINGTON, Karen (nee Redfern) – Peacefully, with family presence on Friday August 29, 2014 at Fairview Lodge, Whitby at the age of 68. Karen, beloved wife of Robert Washington. Much loved mother of Lynne and her husband Philip Ashmore, Greg Washington, and Cindy Washington and her husband Rob Paschkowiak. Much loved Nana of Nicholas and Justin Ashmore. Friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, 905-433-4711 on Tuesday September 2nd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service at All Saints Anglican Church, 300 Dundas Street West, Whitby on Wednesday September 3rd at 11am. Interment Oshawa Union Cemetery (Thornton & King). Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by Karen’s family.
