Borysiak, Walter – Passed away peacefully on Thursday December 6, 2012 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. Walter, in his 88th year, was born in Iwacziw in Ternopil, Ukraine. Beloved husband of Josephine. Dear father of Joanne and her husband John Slemko of Courtice, and David and his wife Marika of Enfield. Dear brother of Paranka Bobyk and her late husband Mykola, and Slavko in Ukraine. Walter was predeceased by sisters Annie and Sophie, and brothers Petro and Roman. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Stephanie, Shaun, Kataryna and Stephen. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Visitation will occur on Tuesday December 11, 2012 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Panachyda will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church on Wednesday December 12, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery.
