Pitre, Merilda – On December 2nd, 2012 at 4:20am Merilda Pitre (nee Landry) passed away peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Gerard Pitre, Dear sister to Ernie Landry & his wife Marg, Betty Olinyk & her husband Joe, Bob Huard & his wife Erika, Bill Huard & his wife June, Carol Christie & her husband Brian and Karen Landry. Predeceased by her sisters Rita Pitre , Connie Chamberlain and Judy Hanoski ,. Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews and great nieces & nephews. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors on the 4th/6th floors at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Resting at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Mass to be held at Holy Cross Church on Thursday December 6th at 11am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the R. S. McLaughlin Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
