LONGO (DeRose), Antonietta,
Surrounded by her loving family, Antonietta passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday January 23rd, 2017, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Longo. Loving mother to Annamaria Marimpietri (Tito), Franco Longo (Silvana), and Gloria Longo. Proud Nonna to Tito-Dante (Rose Marie), Tiziano (Sabrina), Joseph (Claudine), Marco (Megan), and Antonia (Andrea).
Cherished Bisnonna (Great Grandmother) of Martina-Rose, Arianna Chiara, Giovanni Romano, Daniela, Dante, Emilia, Raffaele, Stella, and Francesco Luca. Survived by her nieces and nephews in Canada, United States of America, and Italy. Predeceased by her mother Carolina, father Carmine, her sisters Angelina, Rosaria, Lauretta, Emilia, and her brothers Francesco and Guido. Antonietta will be greatly missed by her many family and friends. The family of Antonietta Longo extends their most sincere gratitude to the healthcare professionals and staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Whitby and Ajax. Resting at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa) on Thursday, January 26th with visitation from 5pm to 9pm. Parish prayers at 7pm. Mass at St. Mary of the People Catholic Church on Friday, January 27th at 11 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Mausoleum (355 Taunton Rd. E., Whitby).
