Condolence From: Laurie & Grant Humes
Condolence: Uncle Art...I am going to miss you so much. I remember when I was the flower girl @ your wedding with Aunt Ruth. How long ago was that? (Don't want to think about it) It is a good memory. Remember last year when I was out for a walk & you drove by me & circled around & pulled onto a side street & we had a great side of the road visit? You had just finished your first cancer fight & you looked so good. I remember coming home & telling my family that & the relief I felt that you had fought the battle & won. What a cruel disease, one I will never understand. I have great memories of you & Aunt Ruth & the time I spent with you two when I was younger... (Wendy was so young) I remember we had to be quiet so you could sleep. Good memories...you are & will always be in my mind...a good, kind man. Rip, Uncle Art..you are much loved.

Very saddened to hear of Art's passing. We first met at the K.O.A. in 1991 when we arrived at the kamp. Many hour of fun and eventually we became next door neighbours. I will remember Art's sense of humour. He always had a story for me. Even after you left we kept up communication via e mail. Ruth, My deepest condolences on your loss. Art was a real gentleman.

Condolence: Ruth, Wendy, John and family- we are so saddened to hear of Art's passing. It doesn't seem that long ago that we were neighbors in Solina. He will be missed by all of us that knew him as neighbor, friend, and colleague. Condolences from us, David, and Rob.

Condolence From: BOB KOWALIW
Condolence: Dear Preston Family,
Art's demise was shocking news to me though all of us will inevitably join him at some time. My first impression meeting him was “who is this dry prig?”? I admired his “exactness”. Eventually he showed me some soul after mentioning 'holubtsi'. Thereafter Art became a companion more-so than a colleague. May he be restful forever and await us. Most sincerely, Bohdan Kowaliw.
