Vero, Crescenzia – It is with great sadness the Vero family announces the passing of Crescenzia. Surrounded by her family with her loving husband by her side in Italy, Crescenzia lost her battle with Cancer on July 1st, 2007. She leaves behind her husband Giuseppe and step children Mariella Vero, Mimma Vero & Len Kleine & Family and Paul Vero & Family. Dear grandmother of Kieran. Crescenzia will be sadly missed by her many friends and family in Canada and Italy. A funeral mass was held on July 3rd in Grumo Appula Bari, Italy followed by entombment in the Community Cemetery. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Armstrong Funeral Home on Monday July 30th at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
