My memories of Aunt Issie always include laughter! When she and Uncle Frank would visit our Canadian cottage on Lake Huron, there would be laughter from the start of their visit to the end. Her wit was unmatched, and oh, her energy! I am thankful to have known her, and our prayers go out to cousins Mike and David and families.

Isabelle was a wonderful lady, had a great sense of humour, was a baseball fan, a golfer and a supporter of the Town of Durham when we resided here with her husband Frank. Raymond and Donna Clark

Auntie Issy was one of my favourite people. She called a spade a spade and never minced words. She lived with our Burley family before she married Uncle Frank, so she often babysat us and kept us laughing with her fabulous sense of humour. Fortunately I had the opportunity to take her out for lunch on her birthday, and even though we didn't see each other often, it was like we never missed a beat. She is the last of my relatives to attend the great reunion party on the other side and I'm thankful to have been a part of her life. I love you Auntie Issy!
