Obituary for Douglas Paul Walker
Walker, Douglas Paul
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Thursday March 9, 2017, at the age of 56. Loving brother of Heather Wippler (Juergen), Debbie Watts, Madonna Hoare (Fred Massai), Richard Walker (Joanne) and Frank Walker. Doug will be deeply missed by his dearest friends Charlene Lewin and Cam Gibson. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Doug was very proud of his profession and installed many fences in the Durham Region.
A Memorial Service will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Wednesday March 15th at 11 am. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. For online condolences please visit www.armstrongfuneralhome.net. A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, PSW’s and the Palliative Care Team for their exceptional care and compassion.
