Condolences

Condolence From: Sara Houghton
Condolence: Pop,
I don’t think I said it enough but you are one of the most important people in my life. You have encouraged me, inspired me, guided me, formed me, and once or twice lectured me (I probably did deserve it though!). You have been there for me for everything, and all of my big moments. I can truly say how grateful I am of you and how honoured I am to be your grand daughter. I love you with all my heart, forever and always.
I have always enjoyed my time with you, from the times of climbing trees, going for walks, engraving our initials in trees, and being at the creek, to lunch and study breaks in college and to the weekly visits since Logan was a baby. You have influenced me in ways you will never know. I am so grateful Logan got to know you and learn from you. I was so proud of the relationship you and he had. I know Logan will keep your lessons and encouragement with him all through his life. He misses you like crazy.
Growing up being with your grandparents isn’t something everyone can say they have had to privilege of. I was so lucky. I still think back at all the great memories you and Nan gave me and it makes me smile and even shed a tear of joy. You gave me such a different outlook on life, being in the bush or being at the creek, skipping rocks and splashing about. I still love the simplicity of life, a lesson you taught me.
Please give Nan a big hug for me and tell her I miss her like crazy and love her a ton.
I will forever love and miss you Pop, for the rest of my days.
with all my love, always and forever
Sara xoxo
